If you've been spending time in Totenreich, you already know the Power Switch relic is one of those pickups that sounds fun until you actually have to unlock it. Still, plenty of players chase it early because the random lethal and tactical reset every round can be useful in weird ways, especially if you're experimenting with setups or trying to push tougher runs. If you're also testing tricks in a CoD BO7 Bot Lobby, this relic hunt feels very similar to other trial-style side objectives: simple on paper, annoying in practice. Before you start, bring a Combat Axe and a rifle that can actually see across the map. A sniper works best, and most players stick with the Shadow SK from Tyr's Shoulder since it makes spotting the altars much less painful.
The whole thing starts with four distant altars, each marked by a different number of deer skulls. You need to check all four and remember which spot matches 1, 2, 3, and 4. First, go to Eidskallen Landing and stand by the barbed wire across from the Rampage Inducer. From there, look out toward the southwest shoreline for the first altar. Second, move to the Dry Dock by the Core Foundry and scan the western cliffside. Third, head to Tyr's Foot and aim toward the mountains in the northwest. Fourth, finish at the cliff above the Burial Grounds near Skallen Market. It's not hard once you know where to look, but the game definitely doesn't hand it to you.
After that, make your way into Blodheim Hall, right where the Vulture Aid machine is sitting. On the walls, you'll notice four hanging bear pelts. This is where the Combat Axe comes in. Throw it at the pelts in the correct skull order, starting with 1 and ending with 4. A lot of people overthink this bit, but there's really no punishment for getting it wrong. Miss a throw, hit the wrong pelt, whatever, just reset in your head and do it again. Once the order is correct, a portal appears on the south wall. That's your sign the real challenge is about to start.
The trial catches some players off guard because your weapons won't do real damage to the zombies. You can shoot, sure, but it won't help. The actual kills have to come from Flammenfalle Traps, so you'll want at least 10,000 Essence saved before going in. Each activation costs 1,000, and you're not making that money back during the event. The safest method is to train a full group over on Beacon Island, drag them through the fire trap, then wait out the cooldown in the back corner. Do that for all three waves. If the horde gets messy, Aether Shroud can save the run. It's slow, a little clunky, and honestly not very exciting, but it works.
Even with the hassle, the Power Switch is still worth adding to your collection because it opens up more variety than most players expect, especially when you're trying to adapt on the fly instead of repeating the same loadout every match. As a professional platform for in-game currency and item support, RSVSR is a convenient option for players who want a smoother experience, and you can buy rsvsr CoD BO7 Bot Lobby there if you're looking to make your next session a bit easier. The relic itself is chaotic, no doubt, but once you've done the steps once, future runs feel way less confusing.
